This is a device driver to be installed when using the USB loader cable 81441177-001 with the following OS.
Windows 7 64-bit
The loader program installed with SLP-A00 has been verified to work with Windows 7.
If you are using the SLP-A00 that you have already purchased (not specified as Windows 7 compatible) with Windows 7 (64-bit/32-bit), you can use it by downloading only the device driver.
Handling precautions
- If you purchased the SLP-A00 commercial version of the loader program that explicitly states that it is compatible with Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit), the setup program (installation program) does not include the loader cable device driver for Windows 2000. Download the device drivers for Windows 2000.
- If your SLP-A00 loader program does not specify Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit) compatible, download the above-mentioned device driver for Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit).
- Check the OS of the PC on which you are installing the loader. Download the device driver for the loader cable that is compatible with the OS.
The installation instructions provide details on applying usbcable_drv64.zip for Windows 7 (64-bit). The basic procedure is the same for other OS.
Downloading the device driver software
Click the device driver you want to download and accept the license agreement.Click “Save” to save the usbcable _ drv64. zip to your PC.
- Double-click the saved file to extract the file.

Handling precautions- Be sure to install the device driver as described below. If you make a mistake, the USB loader cable may not be recognized. If the software is not recognized, uninstall it.
- You must have administrator privileges on your computer to install device drivers. Do this as an Administrator or as a user who is a member of the Administrators group.
- If there are multiple USB ports, connect the USB loader cable to the same port each time. If you connect to a different port, you may need to install the driver again.
(1) Double-click the extracted installation file drvsetup64. exe.
≫ The following screen appears. (English display for non-Japanese OS)≫ Click "Next."
≫ If you agree to the software license agreement and want to install the software, select "I accept the agreement" and click "Next." The device driver installation begins.
≫ When the process is complete, the following screen appears.
(2) Insert the USB loader cable into the USB port to be used and the device driver installation for that port will begin.
≫ When the device driver installation is complete, the following screen appears.
(3) Checking the COM port
Open "Control Panel" → "System and Security" → "System" → "Device Manager" and check the number of Yamatake USB Loader Comm.port in "Port (COM and LPT)." Specify the Comm. port (COMxx) number as the communication port number of various loader software.
