Electromagnetic Flowmeters

Electromagnetic flowmeters measure the flow rate of conductive liquids with high accuracy. Using electromagnetic induction, they detect the electromotive force generated as liquid passes through a magnetic field, enabling measurement with virtually no pressure loss. Because the detected electromotive force is proportional to flow rate and is largely unaffected by viscosity, density, or temperature, these meters provide stable measurement across many processes.
