Windows 10 (32-bit/64-bit) is now supported (ver. 4.2.0 or later).
Windows 7/8.1/10-compatible driver
Download and install the USB Loader Cable Device Driver for Windows 7/8.1/10.
Note:
For Windows 8.1/10, use USB Loader Cable rev. 05/06.
Note:
You can upgrade SLP-P30 ver. 4.0.1–4.1.0 to ver. 4.2.0. You cannot install the latest version on a PC where none of the older versions have been installed. If a version older than 4.0.1 has been installed on your PC or if the SLP-P30 has not been installed, please buy the CD for SLP-P30 4.2.0 and install it.
Note:
Do not uninstall the older version of the SLP-P30 before installing this upgrade file.
If SLP‑P30 is not installed, please install a previous version of SLP‑P30 on Windows in advance.
By installing this upgrade, SLP‑P30 will be upgraded to version 4.2.0.
If the upgraded SLP and the device do not communicate properly, the USB Loader Cable Driver may be old. In that case, reinstall the driver.
Start the SLP-P30 and check the version by selecting [Help]→[Version] on the loader.
In the example below, the version is 4.0.1.
After checking the version, be sure to exit the loader.Download the upgrade file.
If you have SLP-P30J20/P30J50 ver. 4.0.1–4.1.0, download the upgrade file for ver. 4.2.0.Click "Save" to save the file to your PC.
- Click "Save" to save the file.
- Double-click the saved file (dcp31_32_update.zip) to extract it.
dcp31_32_update.zip" contains the following file:
update.EXE (upgrade file for the SLP-P30)- Double-click update.EXE.
- The rest of the procedure is the same as the initial installation.
After installation, start the loader and check the version.
If the version is 4.2.0 as shown below, the update is complete.
